FV101 Scorpion light tank

The FV101 Scorpion is a British CVR(T) light tank and reconnaissance vehicle built by Alvis around a 76 mm gun, high road speed, and a light aluminum hull. In the Boko Haram Insurgency archive it is included because a 2021 IPIS report identified Scorpions among materiel in service with Boko Haram operatives, most plausibly as captured Nigerian Army equipment rather than purpose-built insurgent armor.

In the Boko Haram Insurgency, open-source reporting links ISWAP and Boko Haram-linked forces to armed quadcopter attacks against Nigerian military positions in Borno and Yobe, reflecting a shift from observation drones toward direct low-cost strike use.
T-54/T-55, Main battle tank / medium tank family, TanksTanksT-54/T-55Main battle tank / medium tank familyThe T-54/T-55 is a Soviet tank family built around a low-profile tracked hull, four-person crew, and 100 mm D-10-series gun. It became one of the most widely produced tank families of the Cold War, with Soviet and licensed production spreading across Warsaw Pact and partner states. Recent sourcing documents the family in secondary fire-support and captured-equipment contexts, including an ISWAP-displayed T-55 in the Boko Haram Insurgency, T-55AM1/T-55M1 tanks in Houthi-aligned service in Yemen, Azerbaijani use as improvised artillery in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh fighting, and Russian reactivation during the full-scale Russia-Ukraine War.
