Operators And Orders

Aero's public delivery trail places the L-39NG/Skyfox in training and tactical-training fleets rather than a verified combat deployment record. Vietnam was the first customer; Czech LOM PRAHA uses the type at Pardubice for Czech and foreign pilot training; Hungary ordered training and reconnaissance configurations; and Aero announced 2026 contracts for Angola and an unnamed North American civil customer.

Vietnam

First customer, with Aero reporting the first six-aircraft handover in 2024.

Czech Republic

LOM PRAHA's Pardubice training center had six Skyfox aircraft available by January 2026, with two more scheduled for 2026.

Hungary

Aero reported eight delivered aircraft by November 2025 under a package that includes training and reconnaissance configurations.

New customers

Aero announced 2026 contracts for up to four Angolan Air Force aircraft and one unnamed North American civil customer.

Variants

Aero uses L-39NG/Skyfox designations for customer and certification configurations within the same new-generation L-39 family.
