The Su-27, NATO reporting name Flanker, is a Soviet-designed twin-engine air-superiority fighter built around long range, high speed, and heavy air-to-air armament. Ukraine inherited the type after the Soviet collapse and has kept upgraded aircraft in combat during the Russia-Ukraine War, where Su-27s have been documented flying strike missions and carrying Western-supplied AGM-88 HARM missiles despite their Soviet avionics baseline.
Operated by the Ukrainian Air Force as a Soviet-era air-superiority fighter adapted for wartime strike and suppression missions, including documented low-level strikes on Russian-held Snake Island and later carriage of AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles.
Su-35Single-seat multirole fighterThe Su-35 is a Russian single-seat, twin-engine multirole fighter developed as a deep modernization of the Su-27 family. UAC presents it as a 4++ generation aircraft with thrust-vectoring 117S engines, long-range sensors, and an 8,000 kg combat load; in the Russia-Ukraine War, Su-35S aircraft have been documented in Russian service for air-to-air missions near the front and anti-radiation missile employment against Ukrainian air defenses.
F-15 BazAir superiority and multirole fighterThe F-15 Baz is Israel's name for its McDonnell Douglas F-15A/B/C/D Eagle fleet, originally acquired as an air-superiority fighter and later upgraded for multirole air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. Israeli Baz aircraft are distinct from the F-15I Ra'am strike variant, but retained long-range fighter value in modern Israeli operations, including documented use over Iran during Operation Rising Lion.
F-16 BarakIsraeli F-16C/D multirole fighter variantThe F-16 Barak is Israel's locally modified F-16C/D Fighting Falcon family, built from U.S.-origin Block 30 and Block 40 airframes and adapted with Israeli avionics, electronic-warfare equipment, mission systems, and weapons integration. The type has remained an Israeli Air Force strike workhorse beside newer F-16I Sufa and F-35I Adir aircraft, with recent source-backed use in Gaza, Lebanon, and long-range strikes against Iran.
F-35 Lightning IIFifth-generation stealth multirole fighterThe F-35 Lightning II is a single-seat, single-engine stealth fighter family built around sensor fusion, networked targeting, and multirole strike missions. U.S. and Israeli variants have documented post-2015 combat use, including Marine Corps F-35B strikes in Afghanistan, U.S. Air Force F-35A escort and air-defense suppression over Iran, and Israeli F-35I air-to-air combat against Iran.
Arash-2Long-range one-way attack UAV / loitering munitionThe Arash-2 is an Iranian long-range one-way attack UAV, also described as a loitering munition or suicide drone, associated with the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces. Open sources describe it as a larger Arash/Kian-family strike system with rocket-assisted launch, reported passive-radar or seeker options, and claimed ranges up to about 2,000 km for attacks on fixed or emitting targets.
Bayraktar TB2Medium-altitude long-endurance UAVA Turkish unmanned aircraft used for reconnaissance and strike missions. It became especially prominent in the early phase of the full-scale invasion.
