Ivan Gren-class landing ship (Project 11711)

The Ivan Gren-class landing ship (Project 11711) is a Russian large landing ship / landing ship tank designed by Nevskoe Design Bureau and built by Yantar Shipyard for the Russian Navy. The class is intended to land troops, armored vehicles, cargo, and mines on an unimproved shore, and the first two ships entered service in 2018 and 2020.

The Ivan Gren-class landing ship Pyotr Morgunov deployed to the Black Sea with Russian amphibious forces before the February 2022 full-scale invasion and was later observed operating from or near Russian Black Sea bases. The sources document operational deployment and presence in the theater, but not a confirmed opposed landing by this class.
