The Kolkata-class destroyer is India's Project 15A stealth guided-missile destroyer class, designed by the Indian Navy and built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders. INS Kolkata, INS Kochi, and INS Chennai entered service from 2014 to 2016 with BrahMos strike missiles, Barak-8/MRSAM air defense, anti-submarine weapons, and documented Op Sankalp maritime-security service through named class members.
