Ensdorf class mine-countermeasure vessel

The Ensdorf class is a German mine-countermeasure vessel class rebuilt by Lürssen from five Hameln-class hulls into Type 352 drone-control boats for the Troika Plus system. The class combines mine-sweeping remote boats, mine-detection sensors, and a later peacetime role as training and presentation vessels in the 3 Minesweeper Squadron.

Conflict Usage

The Ensdorf-class/Type 352 mine-countermeasure drone-control vessel Ensdorf/M1094 deployed with UNIFIL off Lebanon in 2007 and again departed for the mission in 2011 with Passau. The documented role was participation in the maritime component off the Lebanese coast, including maritime traffic monitoring, support/training for the Lebanese Navy, and arms-smuggling prevention. I found mission deployment evidence, not confirmed combat or mine-clearance action in conflict.
