Direct proof of use
The FV432 is documented in the 2014 Russia-Ukraine War through Ukrainian World Congress and Ukrainian state-media reporting on armored-vehicle deliveries to Ukraine's Territorial Defense Forces. In February 2023, the Ukrainian World Congress said the first six FV103 Spartan and FV432 APC armored evacuation vehicles had arrived in Ukraine under its Unite With Ukraine initiative, with a wider twenty-five-vehicle package procured for deployment into combat zones.
In September 2023, the Ukrainian World Congress reported a further package of fifteen tracked armored vehicles from the United Kingdom, including thirteen FV432 armored personnel carriers. The same report said that UWC had purchased and delivered twenty-two FV432 APCs to date, and attributed to Territorial Defense Forces commander Major General Ihor Tantsyura the roles of transporting personnel to the front line, moving cargo, transporting wounded personnel, and providing protection during those movements.

Operational role
The available public evidence describes FV432 use as protected mobility and support for Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces rather than as a specific weapon-firing incident. The Ukrainian World Congress described the initial FV432s as APC armored evacuation vehicles and quoted a Territorial Defense Forces officer saying the equipment supported operational tasks and medical evacuation of civilians and military personnel.
The September 2023 handover report gives the clearest role statement: Territorial Defense Forces units were to use the vehicles for front-line personnel transport, cargo delivery, casualty transport, and protected movement. That places the FV432 in the conflict as a donated tracked armored carrier for mobility, force protection, evacuation, and foreign-aid support.
