Shenyang J-8

The Shenyang J-8 is a Chinese twin-engine interceptor fighter developed by the 601 Institute and built by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. Conceived as a high-altitude air-defense fighter, the family entered PLA service in 1980 and later J-8II variants replaced the nose intake with a radome and side intakes to make room for improved radar and weapon fit.
