Defense Express reported on September 15, 2022 that Finnish Sisu XA-180 amphibious armored personnel carriers had been spotted at the front with Ukrainian troops, while noting that the number in Ukrainian service was not known.

A later Defense Express report based on Ukrainian Navy material described Panssari-Sisu/Pasi vehicles in Ukrainian marine training. That report said the vehicle had already been used in combat against Russian forces, including to suppress Russian infantry that had seized a building.
