Fajr-3 rocket

Also known as
  • Fadjr-3
  • Fajr 3

The Fajr-3 is an Iranian 240 mm unguided artillery rocket associated with the North Korean M-1985 lineage and Iran's multiple-rocket industry. NTI's chronology places it in mass production by 1990, records Hezbollah use in southern Lebanon by 1996, and later reporting shows it still appearing in Israel-Hezbollah fighting in 2024.

Launch And Development Notes

NTI's chronology gives the clearest early technical snapshot of the Fajr-3 and also preserves the alternate transliteration Fadjr-3. The table keeps the source wording separate rather than collapsing it into a single averaged figure.
