Direct proof of use
The Bofors BILL appears in the 2014 Russia-Ukraine War as the Swedish RBS-56 BILL anti-tank guided missile supplied to Ukraine after Russia's February 2022 full-scale invasion. Oryx listed RBS-56 BILLs under Swedish anti-tank guided missiles delivered or pledged to Ukraine, with the timing marked before March 2023.
The public fielding record is supported by reporting from Defence24 and Militarnyi. Defence24 reported on April 3, 2023 that a photograph of an RBS 56 in Ukrainian hands had appeared on social media and stated that some of these Swedish anti-tank effectors had reached Ukraine. Militarnyi likewise reported on April 2, 2023 that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had received RBS-56 BILL portable anti-tank missile systems, citing a photograph shown by Operatyvnyy ZSU.

Timeline
The visible public trail begins in late March 2023 with imagery described by Defence24 as showing a Swedish RBS 56 BILL in the hands of Ukrainian soldiers. Within the following week, Ukrainian and Polish defense outlets reported the system's presence with Ukrainian forces.
Oryx's Sweden-to-Ukraine inventory later placed RBS-56 BILLs in the anti-tank guided missile category and marked them as delivered or pledged before March 2023. That source anchors the delivery window but does not identify a firing incident, unit, quantity, or engagement.

Battlefield role
The supported role is Ukrainian anti-armor fielding within the broader foreign-aid stream to Ukraine. Defence24 described the RBS 56 as a Swedish anti-tank guided missile developed by AB Bofors and summarized its ability to attack armored targets from frontal or upper aspects at ranges from 150 to 2,200 m. Saab's BILL 2 release describes the later system as a wire-guided overfly top-attack weapon intended to strike tanks from above.
The available public sources support transfer, Ukrainian possession, and fielding of RBS-56 BILLs. They do not, in the sources used here, verify a named launch, destroyed vehicle, Ukrainian unit assignment, or complete quantity delivered.
