Export And Operator Context

BMC and independent reporting place Amazon outside a single domestic catalogue role. The strongest public evidence supports export and service context rather than a directly sourced conflict-use row.

Qatar

BMC announced production of 35 Amazon 4x4 vehicles for Qatar under a DIMDEX 2018 export deal with Barzan Holding.

Remote And Counter-UAS Configurations

The Amazon family has been used as a protected mobility base for remote-control, autonomy, and counter-UAS experiments. BMC lists remote-control and autonomous Amazon configurations, EDR described a sensor-fed autonomous demonstrator at IDEF 2019, and TurDef reported ASELSAN's Gokberk laser weapon installed on an Amazon 4x4 in 2025.

RCS

The remotely controlled Amazon configuration is described by BMC for urban and asymmetric battlefield conditions, with line-of-sight and built-up-area control ranges.

Ottonom

The autonomous family member adds AI-based driving, 360-degree camera, LIDAR, radar, thermal and night-vision systems, and ground-control-station operation on BMC's specification page.

Gokberk carrier

The reported Gokberk installation used Amazon as a smaller protected carrier for a laser counter-UAS weapon, with TurDef noting sensor differences from the earlier truck-mounted version.
