Direct proof of use
Ukraine's Ministry of Defence announced on 7 November 2024 that the domestic UAT-TISA armored vehicle had been codified and approved for use by the Defence Forces. The announcement described the vehicle as a protected off-road armored pickup able to carry mission equipment, protect its crew from small-arms fire, accept a turret-mounted machine gun, and resist explosive devices under the wheels and undercarriage.
On 30 May 2025, Mezha reported that UkrArmoTech had shipped the first batch of UAT-TISA vehicles manufactured to order for Ukraine's Defense Forces. Defence Blog reported the same day that the first delivery had been completed after field certification, identifying troop transport, cargo movement, and reconnaissance as intended mission uses in contested zones.

Role in Ukrainian service
UAT-TISA's documented role in the war is protected mobility rather than heavy combat. Mezha described the type as suitable for cargo transport, mobile groups, and reconnaissance missions; Defence Blog similarly described flexible mission use including troop transport, cargo movement, and reconnaissance.
Reporting on the July 2025 IDEF display framed UAT-TISA as the lighter member of UKR ARMO TECH's armored-vehicle line. Defense Express described it as a lightweight armored pickup for rapid mobility, tactical deployments, and mobile group operations, while UNITED24 Media described a four-person armored cabin on a Toyota Land Cruiser LC79 chassis with Level 1 NATO AEP/STANAG protection.
