Direct proof of use
The clearest public evidence for KrAZ Fiona conflict use is Ukrainian military evaluation during the wartime period, not a documented combat deployment. Defence Blog reported on 23 March 2016 that KrAZ-Shrek and KrAZ-Fiona heavy armored vehicles were undergoing preliminary trials for the Ukrainian military, then moved from tests at Chernigov and Goncharovskoye to military exercises at the Rovno proving ground.
The same report said the vehicles were presented to Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, including the Chief of the General Staff and battalion commanders, and were test-driven by armed forces personnel and battalion commanders. It also reported feedback that light and heavy KrAZ armored vehicles were needed at the frontline and in military units for various tasks.

Timeline
The Fiona was first publicized as a KrAZ-6322-based 6x6 armored personnel carrier in 2015 and was listed by SpetsTechnoExport as a multi-role MRAP for patrol, convoy support, escort, mounted infantry movement, command-and-control, and medical evacuation.
By March 2016, open reporting placed the Fiona in Ukrainian military trials and exercises. A later Ukrainian academic article on domestic armored-vehicle testing described KrAZ Shrek and KrAZ Fiona comparative testing, including Rovno-region exercises after another test stage at the Armed Forces of Ukraine research-and-test center.

Narrative
In the 2014 Russia-Ukraine War, the Fiona's public record is best treated as Ukrainian protected-mobility evaluation. The available sources connect it to Ukrainian military trials, exercises, and assessment for frontline and unit tasks, but they do not show a standardized Fiona fleet in combat service.
The vehicle's intended role fits protected troop and command mobility rather than direct fire support. SpetsTechnoExport describes the Fiona as a V-hull MRAP based on the KrAZ-6322 chassis, with STANAG 4569 Level 2 ballistic protection and Level 2a/2b mine protection, and with mission options that include patrol, convoy support, escort, troop movement, command-and-control, and medical evacuation.
A 2019 ArmyInform report on AutoKrAZ demonstrations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine again listed the KrAZ Fiona among KrAZ vehicles shown on a proving ground for military and defense-industry observers. That later source supports continued demonstration and evaluation context, but it does not establish operational deployment in a named battle or unit.
