After joining the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the factory took the Kader name and became one of AOI's vehicle and metal-fabrication centers in Cairo.
AOI describes Kader's main activities as the design and production of armored vehicles, fire trucks, railway-carriage interiors, customer-specific civil and military vehicles, wood products, and office furniture. Defense reference sources also associate the plant with older Egyptian armored vehicles, mortar-carrier conversions, training aircraft work, aircraft bombs, and specialized vehicle equipment.
